Silent Nite

THIS IS ONE OF OUR "STAFF FAVORITES" NOW THAT WE HAVE SEEN IT LITERALLY CHANGED LIVES...
About 4 years ago, I was taking a lot of continuing education courses on sleep medicine because we see sleep problems have such a HUGE dental component. In that line of study, I came across many suggested "Anti-Snoring" devices, and this one has turned out to be a HOMERUN for our patients.
As you may know, dental splints to stop snoring and/or sleep apnea can range from cheap, ineffective drug-store devices up to $2000 splints made with painstaking technology. Fortunately, we came across this economical design and have been delighting patients with it ever since.
The Silent Night Splint device costs about $360 and as far as we know, our patients have had 100% success with it!
We have patients who just RAVE about this wonderful device. Some of our staff members use it, or their spouses do, and they say it has entirely changed their sleep lives.
Silent Night is a custom-made device, which is flexible, thin and completely comfortable for most patients. It positions the lower jaw in exactly the right way so snoring is greatly reduced or eliminated all together.
HOW DO YOU GET A SILENT NIGHT DEVICE:
First you come in for a visit to chat with us about your concerns. Most people we speak to will be helped by a Silent Night device, but we are very careful to review a number of other issues that might have some baring on your success and your general health.
If everything we discuss points to the Silent Night as a good fit for your situation, we can take models of your teeth that day. About 2-3 weeks later, you come in, we finalize the fit and you walk out with it. Most patients say it takes only a few days for the whole family to realize the benefits!
And that's it!
IF YOU HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SLEEP APNEA and CANNOT USE THE C-PAP MACHINE
We have been working with the Vermont Medical Sleep Disorder Center for about 3 years now in order to give patients a second option if they just cannot use the C-PAP. (About 50% of the people with sleep apnea cannot make the transition to using the C-PAP machine.)
We have had patients get a sleep study after using the Silent Night device, and while their numbers are not as good as the C-PAP might provide, they do get results that improve their quality of life greatly.
